• NEW Speaker – Mark Faust

Our speaker is Mark Faust, an expert on growth strategy, sales and performance improvement.

Since 1990 Mark has run Echelon Management, a growth consulting firm. Mark is an adjunct professor at the University of Cincinnati and Ohio University. He is an advisor on company boards and he has conducted hundreds of sessions for dozens of the worlds largest companies including Apple, IBM, P&G, John Deere, Monsanto, Syngenta, Bayer Crop Science, CPS, almost two dozen seed companies and several larger ag retailers.

• Co-sponsor the reintroduction of HR 5013 the Access to Affordable Housing Act in partnership with the Seller Finance Coalition;
• Oppose federal efforts to interfere into the landlord-tenant relationship and use carrots not sticks to increase rental affordability and housing choice for renters;
• Improve the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher program to attract and better serve private sector rental housing providers;
• Incentivize local governments to lower barriers to development and increase the supply of rental housing; and
• End the CARES Act 30-day notice-to-vacate requirement for federally-backed and federally-assisted rental properties.

Finally, do be negative! Bring solutions to the table. 2-year-olds say “no.” As professionals in the rental rehab & housing industry, please discuss best management practices that can be codified by legislators – especially around eviction mitigation efforts and then prepare to share those with other leaders around the country!
